Intention.

That’s my challenge to you.

Every single day for the next week, intend how your day is going to be.

Start with these three little words, ‘I intend to…’

And finish them off with something like this; be happy, write three blogs, mark three assignments, spend quality time with my child/parent/sibling/niece/nephew/dog.

Write them down.

Take time at the beginning of each day (or even the night before) to list these things out (being mindful not to overwhelm yourself!).

If it’s a feeling, be the thing that you wish to be. If you intend to be happy, be happy. No need to wait for it, is there? Actually, that shouldn’t be a question. There’s no need to wait for it to turn up. Choose it. Now.

If it’s spending ‘quality time’ with someone, define what ‘quality’ means to you. Is that two hours sharing a movie together or is that one hour of conversation, sharing stories and bearing emotions? Be specific.

When you’re intentioning, I want you to notice how different your days are with it as opposed to without it. Really notice.

I’ll check back in with you on Thursday. In the meantime, feel free to let me know how you’re going in the comments below! I love hearing from you.

With love

Lynda

PS. If you like what I have to say or think someone else could benefit from this humble little blurb, feel free to ‘like it’ or ‘share it’.
